Hayward Acquires AquaVac

In January, Hayward Pool Products announced that it had acquired AquaVac Products, a manufacturer of robotic automatic pool cleaners. The Florida-based company will join Hayward as part of the "Totally Hayward System" of pool equipment. "We recognized the increasing global demand for robotic cleaners and selected AquaVac based on the company's dedication to quality and developing forward-thinking technology," says Robert Davis, president and chief executive officer of Hayward Pool Products.
Tom Willhite, president and chief executive officer for AquaVac says, "Hayward is a highly respected, family-owned company, which is important to AquaVac. We look forward to our business partnership as we meet the increasing demands of the automatic pool cleaner market."
